Blogging

I started wondering about the purpose of such ‘educational blogs,’ as this semester I have three courses which have to do something with blogging. Actually, I realised that this is good for me in the sense that I would never ever create my own personal blog, so having such courses provides me the opportunity to get to know blogging without starting my own. However, after spending so much time on different blogs it may also happen that I change my mind about having a blog, who knows.

Still, I like reading blogs of other people when they write about something that interests me. It is good to get to know the ideas of others about certain topics. Furthermore, when discussing a problem, the author often provides a solution, which can be really useful. Also, many good reviews can be found on the internet, for example, I always check out whether someone has already written about a device which I would like to buy. The positive or negative criticism of the object definitely affects my decision.

Finally, I would like to draw your attention to my favourite blog, which is http://oddee.com/. This is a site where the authors collect the strange, bizarre and odd things of the world, which is very interesting and funny at the same time. It can be so relaxing after an exhausting day or a terrible exam to sit down and take a look at some posts there. I can only recommend you to check out the entry entitled 15 Hilarious Church Signs. I hope you'll enjoy it :)

Just to make you even more interested, here is an example:
